For the second year in a row, Hamad International Airport has been named the World’s Best Airport. The winners were announced at the 2022 World Airport Awards on June 16, 2022, at Passenger Terminal EXPO in Paris, France.
Other major winners include Singapore Changi Airport, winning awards for the World’s Best Airport Staff Service and the World’s Best Airport Dining; Istanbul Airport won the awards for the World’s Best Airport Shopping and as the Most Family Friendly Airport.

Nagoya’s Chubu Centrair International Airport was named World’s Best Regional Airport, Copenhagen Airport was named World’s Best Airport Immigration Processing, and Zurich Airport repeated its success by being named World’s Best Airport Security Processing.
