The Kepler series of humanoid robots represents a significant leap forward in artificial intelligence (AI) and embodied intelligence for robotics, showcasing the cutting-edge capabilities of Kepler Exploration Robot Co. These robots, capable of natural and intuitive interactions with humans and their environment, are set to revolutionize productivity.

The latest addition to the Kepler lineup is the Forerunner series of humanoid robots, which stands out with its impressive features. These robots, engineered with advanced technology, exhibit the ability to navigate challenging terrains, detect and avoid obstacles, and manipulate objects with exceptional dexterity. Standing at a height of 178cm (5’10”) and weighing 85kg (187 lbs.), the humanoid boasts an intelligent hand with 12 degrees of freedom, contributing to a total of 40 degrees of freedom throughout its body. This places it in the league of Tesla’s Optimus in terms of capabilities.

Powered by a system akin to Tesla’s Optimus, the humanoid robot utilizes sophisticated technology, including a planetary roller screw actuator and rotary actuator. These features enable the robot to execute intricate body movements, precise hand control, and advanced visual perception.

The planetary roller screw actuator in the limbs delivers an impressive thrust of 8,000N, providing precise control and quick responsiveness for handling complex tasks. The rotary actuator in the waist and joints offers a peak torque of 200N.m and repeat positioning accuracy of 0.01 degrees, ensuring robust support for the torso’s movement and stable functionality.

Equipped with a set of sensors in its head, the Forerunner robot includes a binocular camera, four microphones, an accelerometer, and an attitude and heading reference system. Communication capabilities are enhanced with a synthetic voice module and stereophonic speakers.

The Kepler Humanoid Robot holds the potential to revolutionize various industries, including intelligent manufacturing, logistics, education, research, smart inspection, high-risk tasks, and outdoor work. Its technological advancements showcased in a global debut video have ignited discussions within the robotics community.

Our goal is for the Kepler robot to be the trailblazer in landing on the exoplanet Kepler, paving the way for a second home for humanity.”

The production and shipping of this robot are expected to commence in the third quarter of this year. Priced at approximately US$30,000 for international customers, the robot is poised to enter the market, providing a competitive and accessible option in the humanoid robot sector.
