The new ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ ride at Walt Disney World seems to have an opening date

It’s time to ‘Save the Galaxy.’ Again. Walt Disney World has set a date for the debut of one of the most anticipated rides in decades.

Disney announced on Monday that ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind’ will make its official debut at EPCOT on May 27.

The ride promises to be a blockbuster, and the Disney blogosphere has already dissected the 30-second video clip that accompanied the announcement.

For starters, the SOS mentioned in the Nova Corps clip is interpreted as a warning of an impending dangerous situation for Xandar’s peacekeeping mission.

The Xandarians have already arrived at the Wonders of Xandar Pavilion at EPCOT.

Many things, including people, are vanishing into oblivion – a reference to the ‘cosmic rewind?’

“It’s’save the Galaxy time,” Rocket exclaims as he goes for EPCOT while Star-Lord sleeps. Again.’”

Feel free to draw your own conclusions from this 30-second teaser. Until then, I hope to see you on May 27th!
