Frontier Airlines is showing its love for Philadelphia by adding twelve new summer routes, along with a promotion to commemorate the announcement.

Frontier’s full timetable was revealed on Wednesday. It will start in Philadelphia in May and go to a number of locations, including Chicago-O’Hare, Columbus, Detroit, Indianapolis, Knoxville, Tenn., Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Pensacola, Pittsburgh, Portland, Maine, and St. Louis.

While some of the routes are brand-new for the airline, others will be back in operation in the summer of 2024.

In order to benefit from the airline’s inaugural fare offer, tickets must be bought by Friday, February 9 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The rates are good for nonstop travel on Saturday through June 19 and Monday through Thursday.

Frontier CEO Barry Biffle stated in a statement, “From the Midwest to the East Coast and from Maine to Florida, these new routes span much of the country and represent our continued commitment to growth from PHL.” “Among our main operational bases, PHL will actually experience the second largest increase in daily departures on Frontier this summer.”

Frontier Is Celebrating New Routes From This Major Hub With $19 Flights

Certain routes, such the ones from Philadelphia to Chicago and Detroit, will run every day, while other routes run three times a week.
According to the airline, Frontier will provide service to almost 40 destinations overall from Philadelphia, “an increase of 47 percent versus the year prior.” Given that Philadelphia is one of the main hub airports for the United States, the emergence of a low-cost airline on these domestic routes may result in lower total fares from the Northeastern airport.

Frontier has been expanding in other focus cities than Philadelphia in recent times. The airline has been operating additional crew bases and routes in the Midwest for the past few months, with stops at Cleveland’s and Chicago’s O-Hare and Midway Airports.
