Now, it’s possible to own a vacation home and live on a cruise ship that travels the globe

live on a Cruise Ship

When Storylines’ first residential cruise ship debuts in 2024, it will include 547 fully furnished residences for sale to globetrotters who want to live on a cruise ship, work, and play while traveling the world.

Sailing around the world is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for most people. An endless journey around the world, however, could be a reality for a few lucky travelers.

When Storylines‘ first residential cruise ship debuts in 2024, it will include 547 fully furnished residences for sale to globetrotters who want to live, work, and play while traveling the world. The majority of the one-to-four-bedroom homes range in size from 237 to 1,970 square feet and can be customized in a coastal or contemporary style. While the onboard residences range in price from $1 million to $8 million, there are a few homes available for as little as $600,000 on a 24-year lease.

The 741-foot-long, 98-foot-wide MV Narrative, like all high-end cruise ships, will include numerous amenities to keep homeowners busy and entertained.

Three pools with sundecks will provide plenty of Vitamin D for guests, while an outdoor running track, gym, yoga studio, and golf simulators will appeal to sports and workout enthusiasts. Because wellness is an important part of the experience and the values of the community, the onboard medical clinic will provide a variety of wellness services such as weight loss, anti-aging, immune therapies, detox treatments, and nutrition planning. The ship even has a pet exercise area to keep four-legged passengers active and healthy.

With 20 dining and bar options, foodies can be confident that their every culinary need and preference will be met. The ship also has its own microbrewery and a solar-paneled, soil-free garden, which will supply fresh ingredients and craft beer to its restaurants. A zero-waste farmers market with local products will also be available. A library, a marina with watercraft access, a movie theater, an art studio, and a bowling alley are also available on board. The Narrative was designed with long-term viability in mind. The ship runs on liquid gas, which is more environmentally friendly than traditional fuels.

“Many people enjoy international travel, but they dislike the logistics, planning, air travel, jet lag, and living out of a suitcase. Storylines takes the stress out of international travel, allowing people to concentrate on exploring, adventures, and cultural experiences. After a day of exploring a new exotic location, they can return home to friends and familiar surroundings and sleep in their own bed “Shannon Lee, co-founder of Storylines, wrote in an email.

Of course, being a member of a cruise community is primarily about traveling and seeing the world. The ship’s three-year journey, which begins in 2024, will take it to all six continents. Residents will have several days to explore each location and become fully immersed in the local culture.

“People who are interested in world cultures and actively participate in local communities are drawn to Storylines. We like to say that “exotic destinations become your afternoon strolls” because the overall experience is about exploring the world while still having all of the comforts of home “Lee also added

And on this ship, the idea of exploring the world from the comfort of your own home strikes a different chord.
