Dubai Expo 2020 has had an incredible start, with 411,768 ticketed visitors in the first ten days! The expo opened on October 1 and had already attracted a record number of visitors from 175 countries by October 10. For those who are unaware, 192 countries are participating in the Dubai Expo, each with their own pavilion.
“We are very happy with this wonderful turnout. The numbers achieved in the first ten days reflect the enthusiasm of the world to attend Expo 2020 Dubai. The coming days and weeks will be full of special events offering a visitor experience that will be rich, purposeful and entertaining, and we look forward to welcoming many more people from around the world.”
Reem Al Hashimy, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director General, Expo 2020 Dubai
The figure includes all physical ticket holders but excludes representatives, delegations, guests, staff, and other stakeholders. Aside from that, the Virtual Expo, virtualexpo.world, has been a huge success. It debuted on September 30th, and over three million people watched the opening ceremony live on screens! In addition, between October 1 and 10, five million online visits were recorded.
There are a variety of expo ticket options available, but multi-day and season passes are the most popular. People have been impressed by the pavilions of various countries.

According to Joseph K Issa, Commissioner General of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, people are genuinely interested in the pavilions and want to know what they have to offer.
Next year, on March 31, 2022, Expo 2020 Dubai will come to an end.
