No plane in the sky!

* versiunea in limba romana mai jos

Last night I went out the window and looked at the sky. I saw the moon and the stars … and I was sad because I realized something was missing: the planes! I didn’t see any planes. Where are all those airplanes whose signal lights caught my eye every time, making me think of the passengers on board, trying to imagine where are they going? So I looked at the flight radar: 3599 planes in the air all over the world!

4-5 times less than normal. Another sign of the fact that in this period life life slows down… But the plane’s place was taken by our thoughts that fly … more than ever. Fly to places where we have been and where we have lived wonderful experiences or to places we will reach! And that’s fine. Nothing else helps us to keep our soul full of optimism and hope than pleasant dreams and memories! Life has slowed down, he’s almost at a break. But it’s a break, not an eternity! And in this break, the experiences we lived help us through their recollection.

Material things make it harder now … some are broken, others are outdated … the satisfaction decreases quite quickly, usually because of the envy felt during the comparisons we make: others have bought an object from the same category (car, flat screen TV, etc.), but better and more expensive, which it causes us negative feelings and dissatisfaction. Instead, a trip is valuable primarily because of our impressions and memories of it, and these are individual and subjective, so unlikely to resemble other people – even if they were on a similar vacation.

So I will look every night in the sky looking for the sign that the break is nearing the end: the planes! Until then take care, stay home, enjoy the pleasant experiences you have already experienced: look at the pictures, remember the wonderful places and people you met, the events you have lived , share them with your loved ones!

Viata a incetinit, e aproape in pauza.
