According to the most recent developments, Vietnam is planning to extend e-visa validity after its government approved the extension of visa reform measures. This decision would be welcomed by international tourists visiting Vietnam, which has grown in popularity as a tourist destination in recent years.
According to reports, on the proposal of the administration, Vietnam’s MPs in the National Assembly voted on June 24 to extend the validity of electronic visas for arriving travelers. As a result, from August 1, Vietnam e-visa validity will be extended to 90 days from the existing 30 days.

Currently, visitors to Vietnam receive electronic tourist visas for only 30 days, allowing them only one entry into the country. However, with the new arrangement in place, tourists will be able to stay for an extended period of time. As a result of the visa amendments, travelers will be able to stay in Vietnam for longer periods of time and visit numerous parts of the nation. The tourist visa is USD 25, and the processing time is currently 3-4 days.

The idea contains a mandate to enable tourists multiple entrances rather than single entry visas in order to enhance tourism in the country. This action will almost certainly benefit Indian tourists, who frequent this destination in big numbers.
Vietnam presently offers e-visas to citizens of 80 countries and territories, while nationals of 25 countries can visit without a visa, with visitors allowed to stay between 14 and 30 days on average.
