With its friends Fly Free fare sale, Frontier Airlines just launched a new offering that offers travel with a companion or pals for free. By purchasing a standard round-trip ticket, travelers can receive a complimentary companion price for their spouse, friend, or other family members.
Travelers should be informed that the discount is exclusive to members of Frontier’s Discount Den, the airline’s premium subscription club, before making a reservation. The program, which costs $99 annually, gives travelers’ children access to free or significantly discounted flights. A traveler’s buddy or companion may also receive a complimentary ticket with this extra benefit.
To receive the complimentary companion fare, travelers only need to enter the coupon code FLYFREE at the time of checkout. The flights are a fantastic choice for spring break or early summer holidays, but they must be reserved before March 24, 2025, and they are valid for travel until May 21, 2025.
After Southwest Airlines recently discontinued its free checked baggage policy, Frontier has started offering promotions to attract Southwest Airlines customers. For example, Frontier just revealed that, through March 24, it will provide a complimentary economy package that includes a carry-on bag and seat assignment. The code is FREEBAG. The free bag and economy bundle offer is good through August 18, 2025, however the companion promotion is only good for travel through May 21.
In a news release regarding the various promotions, Frontier’s Chief Commercial Officer Bobby Schroeter stated, “With the $0 Economy Bundle already making travel easier and more affordable, and the added benefit of a free checked bag for future flights, we’re now giving travelers one more reason to fly – because everything’s better with a friend.”
The airline has been adding flights to Aruba and Honduras to its route map, in addition to regularly running specials to attract new customers.
