The 295-meter Norwegian Pearl will host “The Big Nude Boat” cruise adventure in February 2025.
What should you bring on a cruise? The answer seems to be very little in the case of this upcoming trip from tour and travel business Bare Necessities.
In February 2025, the 295-meter Norwegian Pearl will set sail on an 11-day excursion from Miami to the Caribbean, thanks to a partnership between the nudist cruise expert and Norwegian Cruise Line.
A statement on Bare Necessities’ official website states, “As always, it’s our pleasure to provide you the luxury of deciding what NOT to wear.” Bare Necessities has booked more than 75 full-ship nude cruises.
The cost of a cabin (based on two people sharing) starts at about $2,000 and goes up to $33,155 for a three-bedroom villa. Norwegian Pearl can accommodate 2,300 passengers.
The ship’s specialty restaurants have “a large buffet area for nude outdoor dining,” and the business claims that the amenities are designed to “fit everyone’s style of bare cruising.”
But “bare cruisers” shouldn’t anticipate going completely without clothing.
In fact, there will be several guidelines that guests must go by. These include wearing clothing when they are inside the ship’s dining rooms and making sure they place a towel down before sitting “in the stateroom, pool deck, and buffet area” or “bare bottomed or in a thong or G-string.”
In the meanwhile, “being nude in front of other ships in port” and “fondling or inappropriate touching is prohibited.”

In addition, Bare Necessities forbids “fetish wear,” lingerie, and taking pictures or recordings of other cruisers without their permission.
On February 3, the “11-Day adventure back to Bare-adise” is set to leave Miami and return on February 14.
“Our mission is to offer non-threatening, natural environments that allow the appreciation, wonder, and compatibility of nature and the unadorned human form to occur,” states Bare Necessities. “We aim to provide relaxing, entertaining, and health-conscious vacation opportunities.”
