When Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser launches in 2022, Disney promises fans the “most immersive” experience ever. Two guests in a standard cabin will pay at least $4,809 for a 2-night Star Wars adventure, according to the entertainment giant. Obviously, suites will cost more, but visitors will pay less per person as their group grows.
“Part live immersive theater, part themed atmosphere, and gourmet extravaganza, part real-life role-playing game,” Disney characterizes the experience. guests will board a launch pad and meet the Halcyon at the Walt Disney World Resort terminal, according to the Galactic Starcruiser’s official website.
Guests will face “story moments” while inside, in which they will play a real-life choose-your-own-adventure game in which they will be able to determine how their tale will evolve. They can opt to follow the First Order or the Resistance, join a smuggling organization, or help a stowaway, for example. They’ll be able to engage with known characters who will function as NPCs and learn how to use lightsabers to defeat opponents. If participants wish to learn more about their tale, they can go on missions. Each trip on the Starcruiser will be one-of-a-kind, according to ComicBook, so those who can afford it will be able to have unique experiences.
